I wanted to convert my guest bedroom into my dream office/ thrift lounge but knew I needed help. I had the ideas in my head but needed someone to bring them to life.

So I searched a group on Facebook for interior designers and came across Marlaya who owns Studio One Nine Design . I reached out to her via her website from her business FB page and she responded back very quickly with time frames to set up a virtual meeting to discuss my needs and to see if we would be a good fit.

After our initial meeting she set up a 2nd meeting but this time in person to see the space, take measurements, ask me some more questions about the design and talk about the budget. She also had me send her design inspiration photos of office spaces that inspired me.

From there she drew up a design plan and I about fell out my chair it was so gorgeous. Marlaya took all my ideas, wants and desires for that space and created my DREAM OFFICE!!!

The next few week's she found and scheduled every contractor to come and do the work...from the light installation, to the floor installation, to the wall painting, to the installation of the wallpaper!! She ordered all the furniture and on my reval day came to my house with her handyman and put together all my furniture and made the space PERFECT!!

I am so happy and would recommend her to anyone needing interior designing assistance!! Thank you Marlaya for listening and giving me exactly what I invisioned!!

From the time I hired Marlaya, she was very attentive to my needs, fast in response to emails, and just all around lovely to work with! Marlaya really took the time to want to know me and my story so that she may better serve and assist me as a customer. This was my first time working with an interior designer and I have to admit, I was a bit nervous. Marlaya reassured me from start to finish that I was in good hands. When I reached out to Marlaya I had already had a few consultations with other interior decorators, who failed to follow up with me and was not responded to any of my attempts to contact them after the initial consultation. So, when I reached out to Marlaya I had some reservations because of previous experiences. However, once I shared with her my experience she ensured me that if I hired her that would not happen. That is true from day one she has been responsive to requests, ideas, unplanned discussions of the project, etc. When I hired Marlaya I had just moved out of my commercial office space and would be running my business from a home. I needed to have a home office that felt and looked like it was in a downtown high rise with the look and feel of a c-suite. Marylaya gave me just that.
