I had a pretty fun, exciting and relatively seamless experience with Annie and her design team this year! We did lose an important member during the process, however, Annie made it work without significant hiccups. I don’t think anyone can say they’ve enjoyed a kitchen reno, but I certainly have. She understood what I wanted for my space even though I didn’t know what that was exactly! They excelled at communication, attention to detail, and importantly, sticking to the budget. Construction was quick (we were super lucky) from time to demo to move-in was just about 2 months, in part thanks to the organization of this dream team… A-mazing. The end result: Annie made my kitchen dreams come true! It’s absolutely fabulous. I will miss the design process, but I am certain we will hire Spotted Interior Design again for other home projects and at least make a high recommendation.

Annie and her team helped execute an amazing kitchen renovation as well as a guest bathroom for us. They were such a pleasure to work with, being extremely organized, very easy to communicate with and making sure all of the work got done on time and within the original planned budget. I also cannot say enough good things about her contractors. They paid such close attention to detail and their work was of such high quality. I knew when I wanted to renovate my kitchen that I wanted to make sure the work was done by someone who paid attention to these details and that the work would look perfect. This is exactly what I got from Annie and her team! If you are interested in doing any renovations to your home, use Annie! You will not be disappointed!

Annie and her team at Spotted have made me so much happier in my own home. Even if you're just considering a space to redo, it's worth the 10 minutes to talk to them.

They started with a very detailed design board and renderings of what the improvements/space would look like. Next, they recommended general contractors, carpenters, electricians, etc that they trusted, and they went out of their way to help manage the quote, selection, and build phases of the project, even if technically out of the scope of their design work. They also had great suppliers for furniture, and seemed to have some extra pull to get items earlier than expected during the pandemic.

The end result was perfect, and exactly what I wanted, while also being beautiful. They didn't implement a cookie cutter "popular" style on my home, but instead worked with me to design what I wanted, and what would make me the happy in my space. Even when I was probably wrong on what was correct from a design perspective, they took my preferences to heart, and made it all work.

I absolutely recommend Spotted Design!

Unfortunately, pretty poor experience working with Annie. For a project I was so excited for, it ended up being more stress than anything. There was a big lack of clear communication, attention to detail, guidance, and overall transparency. Not to mention she significantly under quoted me and was not tailoring design to my style. Instead it was a seemingly cookie cutter approach.

When I tried to explain what I wasn’t satisfied with early on in the process based on what she initially pitched to me, there was zero ownership or customer service to pivot. She would instead make excuses or pass blame to partners which I thought was poor form.

I hope my situation is a one-off, but would look elsewhere for design services.

Annie is so collaborative but pushes on choices that really elevate the space.
