My young family was new to the process of house renovations and approaching a full kitchen remodel with a toddler was daunting.

Rima and her team were wonderful every step of the way. Stephanie created a stunning kitchen design that was truly customized to enhance our real life. She asked great questions and listened deeply to our answers, honoring the input in a way that always made us feel understood. They respected our budget and it never impacted the quality of the design. When unexpected twists occurred during construction so we had to source new material, the TEW team were eager to help problem solve and approached it as an exciting challenge rather than an inconvenience.

When I stand in my new kitchen, it feels like an expression of my heart. Not only did TEW design a space built for functionality, they created a kitchen that feels like a permanent home.

When it was time to renovate our master bath, powder room and guest bath, there was no question about who we would ask to do the design work. We were so pleased with the work that Rima Nasser did seven years ago when she designed our kitchen, contacted TEW Design.
We met with Rima and Stephanie Palm at the TEW studio. They listened to our wishes for the project and visited our home to see the space and take measurements. They presented their designs in print and video formats. It was wonderful to see examples of floor and shower tiles, cabinet styles and color and pictures of faucets, lights and mirrors. Bringing some tile samples home made the choices much easier. The final result is even better than we had envisioned.

We purchased a home in the area but were not scheduled to move in right away. I didn't want to move a lot of furniture from the west coast (our Pasadena bungalow stuff just didn't fit the mid-century modern of the new house). So I did something I had not done before -- hire TEW Design Studio help me figure out how to furnish the new house and to refurbish and refresh some of the features that either didn't suit our taste or seemed a bit old-fashioned. TEW Studio was recommended to us by our realtor, and they handled every aspect of the project beautifully. They always worked with our budget, and they worked to get a sense of our own specific aesthetic.

They gave us many options when it came to key pieces of furniture, and they coordinated those things that we did intend to bring with us into their vision of the key spaces of the house (LR, DR, Master BR, Kitchen). Their selections for key pieces of furniture, for light fixtures, for paint colors, and floor treatments were spectacular. For that reason, on those few occasions when I was a little doubtful of what they proposed, I made the decision to defer to their design judgement (which was the whole point, right?). Not surprisingly, virtually every one of those instances proved they were right.

We are thrilled with the work, which was done on time, on budget, and with very high quality of workmanship. The success of that first project encouraged us to begin a guest bathroom remodel, which is already looking amazing. Every day we wake up in spaces that are beautiful, comfortable, and really functional. I'm delighted with Rima and her team, and I love this new home.
