We chose Cairns Craft to renovate our kitchen and guest bath. They walked us through each phase of the process. From the beginning, with the design phase, they were flexible, helpful, patient, and supportive. The mobile showroom allowed us to select the cabinetry features we wanted to include in our design. After we had a design, the Cairns Craft team kicked into high gear. Marie sets the construction calendar and sticks to it. No work starts until she has firm delivery dates for the big items (cabinets, fixtures, appliances, and such). She has a fabulous relationship with her incredible subcontractors. Every subcontractor was highly skilled, personable, responsible and willing to go the extra mile to complete high quality work and stay on schedule (one even worked on both Saturday and Sunday to insure the job stayed on schedule!) Have a question or concern? Send her an email, and she is on it immediately. She is at the job site daily to check on progress. She attends to every detail of the process. And, through the use of an app, the Cairns Craft team keeps the calendar updated, posts regular progress notes, and posts invoices, so you are always up to date on what is happening on the job. The finished project is amazing! We couldn’t be happier with the process or the product.

From the day Charles came to present information about CairnsCraft, to the last day of the project when Marie stopped by to give a thank you gift, our experience with Cairns has been fantastic. We had two incredible designers work on our home. Paola and Svetlana both listened carefully to our wishes and worked to create our dream kitchen. Having procured the design, we then had the opportunity to work with the construction team Marie managed. Every step of the way, matters were handled in a timely manner and Marie even managed to finish our project early! The whole experience was a joy - and having done two other kitchen remodels, we know this isn’t always the case! Marie, a master of communication, responded quickly and regularly to any questions or concerns we had. Finally, I have to add that working with Marie as our project manager saved us both time and money. We had a financial issue with the company that delivered our appliances, and on a late Friday afternoon, Marie called her many contacts and helped solve our problem! Thanks to CairnsCraft we now have our dream kitchen in our forever home.

I am beyond grateful that I hired CairnsCraft for this project and highly recommend them. The work was started in March just before the impact of COVID 19 was realized. I was out of town the first week and Marie provided me with daily progress updates. By the time I was back in San Diego, my kitchen had been demo'd and I had no plumbing or electric so the work that had to be done was essential. Despite this scary and stressful time, Marie remained calm, organized and got the job done without sacrificing safety. She and her team came with gloves and masks on and were on time every single day without fail. She was committed and it is evident she and Charles take pride in their work and your satisfaction is very important to them. They were a pleasure to work with and kept me informed every step of the way. I love my new sweet remodeled little kitchen and it turned out even better than I anticipated. Thank you!!

For my guest bathroom remodel I looked at several different companies, but when I met with Charles of Cairns Craft Design and Remodel I was immediately impressed with his knowledge, honesty and desire to ensure I was comfortable with all aspects of the project before committing. I am extremely happy that I chose to work with Charles and Marie and their phenomenal team. I had a challenging schedule which Marie worked tirelessly to ensure was met. I enjoyed every part of the experience from the design, material selection to the actual construction. Communication is essential with these projects and I cannot commend the team highly enough for their response rate to questions and the daily project management of the job by Marie and Brad. The sub contractors were of the highest quality, and the finished product from design to finish to functionality is superb.

This is the second home renovation project we have done with CairnsCraft and we could not be happier to work with them. Marie and Charles are wonderful to work with -- they are kind, patient, and responsive, and they are very good about communicating over the course of the project. They work with outstanding subcontractors who do beautiful work, and their own employees are terrific. They get the renovations done efficiently, they stick to the budget carefully, and they get good and fair pricing. Our most recent renovation could have taken several months, but they got it done in just a few weeks and the work is impeccable. We have recommended them to many of our friends and will continue to do so, and look forward to working with them in the future on our next home projects.

We selected CairnsCraft Design & Remodel after interviewing a few different remodeling firms. We were looking for a solid reputation, a designer that would not give us a cookie-cutter design, and a firm that led with great communication. We relied heavily on the CairnsCraft designer to come up with non-traditional creative solutions taking into account our specific requests for wall removals, addition of storage, etc. She helped us nail down a unique personalized design, and guided us through the selection of materials/finishings knowing we had a specific vision and color palette in mind. Then on the construction side, we were pleased to see the quality of the craftsmanship between all the trades. We also had a few tradespeople of our own that we were able to weave into the project amongst the CairnsCraft teams - which worked out great. Communication was very consistent from the start of the project. The use of an online platform was great to ensure all communications were in one place with photos/videos. They had a team member at the job site consistently thru/out the construction. Their coordination on receipt of materials such as cabinetry, kitchen/bath materials, flooring/tile, etc. was extremely helpful. The project was also completed on schedule so we could move back in prior to the holidays. Overall, we are exceptionally proud of our partnership with CairnsCraft in helping us through our vision to the end result. Our dream home is exceptional, and we couldn't have done it without the CairnsCraft team.

We hired CairnsCraft to renovate the back half of our house, which included moving walls, building a walk-in closet, and reconfiguring/replacing two bathrooms. After meeting with several contractors, we chose to work with Charles and Marie based on their candid and realistic assessment of our project and the detailed proposal they offered. After we signed the construction contract, CairnsCraft provided a schedule and was on-site each day to monitor the project. The CairnsCraft team kept us well-informed via email and text and handled any issues in real time on our behalf. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed thoroughly and quickly. Our project was originally scheduled to take four months, but CairnsCraft worked so efficiently with their subcontractors that they actually finished a few weeks early! We are very pleased with the finished product.
